People of The Book

Oh Allah SWT .:❄️🤍:. it's so beautiful ماشاء الله
By destiny, some VCDs came to my house. I think it's for Christians, with a message "God is Love". So, may I say ... it is not foreign for Muslims. We too believe Allah The One God, is The Most Merciful. سبحان الله

And we believe in Jesus [QA] ﷺ too, he is a servant of Allah SWT and prophet. Actually we believe in all the prophets, from Adam [QA] ﷺ to Muhammad ﷺ - without any distinctions between them. لا نفرق بين أحد منهم ونحن له مسلمون [Q3:84 | QA] We also believe in the 4 Holy Books - the Taurat, Zabur, Injeel & Quran. وكتبه ورسله لا نفرق بين أحد من رسله [Q2:285 | QA] Believing all these are the pillars of faith.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
إن مثلي ومثل الأنبياء من قبلي
كمثل رجل بنى بيتا فأحسنه وأجمله إلا موضع لبنة من زاوية
فجعل الناس يطوفون به ويعجبون له ويقولون هلا وضعت هذه اللبنة
قال فأنا اللبنة وأنا خاتم النبيين Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "My similitude in comparison with the other prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go about it and wonder at its beauty, but say: 'Would that this brick be put in its place!' So I am that brick, and I am the last of the Prophets." [Sahih Bukhari 4.56.735]

ماشاء الله yes, the religion is one. أمة واحدة [Q23:52 | SB4.55.651]

The believers who "surrendered in peace to Allah" (Muslim) from even before the Quran, is regarded as People of the Book. الذين آتيناهم الكتاب من قبله هم به يؤمنون [Q28:52-53] Even in the time of Prophet Muhammad, there were Christians & Jews who believed and supported him. Some of the Christians were:

• Bahira, the priest who saw signs of prophethood in him
• Waraqa Nawfal, who first counseled him [SB6.60.478]
• King Negus, who sheltered them in Abysinnia [SM4.2078]
• Heraclius, who said "this is faith when its delight enters the heart"
• Addas, who offered him grapes & kissed him after Taif's rejection
• His wife, Mariya al-Qibtiyyah, who bored him a son, Ibrahim

People of the Book can recognize him from their own Scriptures: "the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel" النبي الأمي الذي يجدونه مكتوبا عندهم في التوراة والإنجيل [Q7:157] Jesus himself had described him: "a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad" برسول يأتي من بعدي اسمه أحمد [Q61:6]

His coming was known and expected by People of the Book. وعد ربنا لمفعولا [Q17:107-109]

He was the seal of the prophets. He was the last. خاتم النبيين [Q33:40]

BTW the Jerusalem Temple at the time of Jesus ﷺ is fascinating! There were Zachariahﷺ [QA], Yahya (John) ﷺ [QA], Maryam (Mary) [QA] ... & oh they're so pure ... With Maryam, the daughter of 'Imran among the best woman! واصطفاك على نساء العالمين [Q3:42] خير نسائها مريم [SB4.55.642] ماشاء الله

The grand extension of the Jerusalem Temple was also a marvel; a feat of ancient engineering, only to be destroyed by the Romans. Since then, The House hasn't been rebuilt. وليتبروا ما علوا تتبيرا [Q17:7 | QA]

But friends, there is Baitullah to turn to. ماشاء الله
وإن الذين أوتوا الكتاب ليعلمون أنه الحق [Q2:144 | QA]

I seek refuge to Allah SWT from errors
