Yummy Pi

Posted By Snow at 3/14/2010

Pi (π) is all over the universe!

Pi (π) circle
circumference = 2 x π x radius
area = π x radius 2
March 14 is yummy Pi Day! The constant π (Pi) is all over the universe because of the circle. Have you notice, that things in the universe moves in circles. & when there is a circle, there is Pi.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
وهو الذي خلق الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر كل في فلك يسبحون

It is He Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon,
all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course.

[Holy Quran 21:33]

ماشاء الله the sun & moon swim along (يسبحون)
each in its rounded course (فلك) - it's so true ☼

OK so take challenge 1 : add up 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 until 100

It's difficult? It's easy! 1+100=101, 2+99=101, 3+98=101, 4+97=101, 5+96=101...
First number (ascending) + last number (descending) always gets 101. This is until 50+51=101.
So 50 x 101 = (50 x 100) + (50 x 1) = 5000 + 50. The answer is 5050.

challenge 2 : 16 x 181
calculate by power or 10s

16(100) + 16(80) + 16(1)

= 1600 + 1280 + 16
= 2600 + 280 + 16
= 2800 + 80 + 16
= 2880 + 16
= 2890 + 6
= 2896

So, there's repetition in adding up from 1 to 100...

Anyway... I still remember back then, there was so much mathematics. When I was 8, my class teacher won't let us go back home until we answer the multiplications correctly. At 9, I was looking at a senior math book & was excited to see divisions. At 10 we learn fractions. 14, trigonometry. 16, algebra. 17, functions, integral.

∫ f(x) dx
yes my national school teacher taught me this in Malay
it is called kamiran, taught in matematik tambahan
so if you're high class educated, explain this (◠v◠)v

Then, in university... we built applications which draws circles, curves, spheres etc to model objects. & even when drawing curves P(u,v) = ∑ ∑ Bi,n(u) Bj,m(v) Ki,j there are repetitions - this symbol ∑ means repetition. Yes repeat it again & again, but not till infinity ∞.

Ohh I think I'm hungry now. A pie seems delicious. (◠9◠)

Does يَسْبَحُونَ mean "swimming"?

I believe astronauts practice on earth under water. Is being in space like being under water? & Einstein space time disturbance - did I get it right? - is also said to be similar to water ripples.

I also read that our Milky Way's center also may have a magnetic structure similar to a whirlpool.

Electromagnetic waves sound like water waves. Only it is an electric force field. It is energy. & it is all around us, e.g: light. So. Is that the "waves" for celestial bodies to swim?

Total solar eclipse on 9th March 2016 | photo | path الحمد لله

It begins in the Indian Ocean, across parts of Indonesia (Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi) & ends in the northern Pacific Ocean. The first city to see it is Palembang, the Venice of Sumatra. Interestingly the eclipse also coincided with MH370 | map ❀ الله يرحمهم

Welcome
Peace be upon you
